With the 01W Pierce and Prime Presses casings
and primers are fed from separate hoppers to the dial ring. The
flash hole is then pierced and verified using an optical sensor. The
primer is then inserted and seated to a pre-determined depth.
Optionally the primer can be sealed and the mouth of the case can be
varnished. The machine is capable of running up to 100 strokes per
minute.
25 ST - 15 ST Pierce and Prime Presses
The newer line of ST style high speed presses
can perform the same operation as the O1 W presses only these
machines are capable of running at up to 250 strokes per minute.
Both the O1W and ST ammunition presses are updated with modern
controls and OSHA compliant guarding.
